About Utica Lincoln Garage

The first 50 years have been great. Here’s to the next 50! Sincerely, Chris & Matt

Located at 1652 Lincoln Ave, Utica, NY 13502, Utica Lincoln Garage operates as an auto repair shop serving Utica in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.

The business lists hours on 1 day of the week. Typical hours are 9 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file.

On Google it holds a rating of 5.0 out of 5 from 21 reviews, which is a strong result for an auto repair shop in Utica and suggests consistent service.

Utica is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Utica follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Very easy to get there. Upon entering, I was greeted by a very friendly man. He explained step by step the issues I was having, and making sure I understood. Didn’t overcharge me at all. Definitely will be coming back! Also, it’s clean outside. Not too much traffic, and it’s in a quiet place in the neighborhood.

Called the number after 8:00 at night because we’d just pulled into town and the “check engine” light came on. We hoped to get a recording for what time they opened in the morning. Chris answered and said to meet him when he opened in the morning. Thank you, Chris for getting us in and doing the diagnostic. It gave us peace of mind as we continued on to Maine for a family reunion. Chris is an extraordinary guy - quotes ancient poetry and rock ‘n roll while he translates a technical & wordy diagnostic vehicle report. Of course when traveling through (loved Utica ❤️), there is concern about trust. Chris put us instantly at ease and we felt very much cared for.

You won't find anyone who provides a level of service better than Chris and his dad, Matt. Nice guys who really know their stuff! Don't trust your exotic or luxe vehicle to any other garage!

Brought in my BMW with an exhaust leak, resigned to paying a few thousand to make it right. Instead, they suggested a quicker, cheaper fix and had it done on the same day -- all for $200! Having waited longer and paid more money for much more basic work at dealerships, this was like some beautiful dream.

Utica Lincoln garage came highly recommended from a gentleman i met through conversation at my own place of work. I called and was able to set an appointment with just a few minutes of describing my issues. I didn’t have to wait a week they fit me in promptly within a day! It was easy to find and in a good and accessible area of Utica. I was greeted by Mr.Matt Cashion who is also the owner, he was nice and personable. That’s rare I find these days. I explained the problem to his son Christopher , also co owner , that handles most of the labor. He took the time to explain to me the issue in terms I understood, being a woman it can be intimidating, and very easy to be taken advantage of but this was NOT the case. I left my truck and unpon returning I was very happy to find it was done sooner than I expected and at much less of a bill than the 3 previous shops I had been quoted from.I have been to them a few more times since and will return anytime I need service. The shop did great and very reliable work with no issues and they even offers me coffee! I highly recommend Utica Lincoln garage to anyone looking for fair, reliable, and very appreciative customer service. It’s been a lon
